Types of investigations:
- Ghost Hunt - A Ghost Hunt is a organized activity usually done after the chapter meeting. All members and guests are invited and encouraged to participate. These are set up in advance. This is a good way for someone new to the field to learn techniques in investigation and the proper way to use the various equipment that is used in investigating the paranormal. The downside to a hunt is the number of people that attend. FWIGT addresses this by dividing up into teams and each team is assigned a Team Leader. Ghost Hunts usually last 2 - 3 hours. All members that attend a hunt are encouraged to submit a written report on their observations and findings as well as any evidence that they capture.
- Investigations - Investigations are done for clients that contact FWIGT. We do NOT charge for this service. Investigations are carried out by a small team usually 3-5 trained investigators. All investigations are kept extremely cofidential unless the client gives express written consent. An investigation involves research on the site as well as personal interviews, and of course the actual investigation of the property. These investigations can take anywhere from 2 hours to a couple of days depending on the size of the location and the amount of activity.
